Eyes of the Living is a Thrash Metal band hailing from the Philadelphia, PA region. Debuting in 2017 with their album ‘War on Dead,’ a Zombie Apocalypse concept album, they were about to reestablish their presence in the Philly Metal Scene. While EOTL debuted in 2017, all 4 members are certainly no strangers to the Philadelphia music scene, having played in their previous bands since the early 90’s and landing some killer National Level gigs earlier in their careers. With the debut of ‘War on Dead,’ doors once again began to open for them. In 2019, ‘War on Dead - More Dead’ was released worldwide. They released their 2nd album ‘Fear Comes Knocking’ February 25, 2022. Both albums can be found on all streaming platforms and CDs can be purchased via their shop tab at eyesoftheliving.com EOTL made it to the Finalist round of the US National Wacken Open Air Battle in 2018. They’ve picked up slots on some major festivals including Blue Ridge, Tennessee Metal Devastation and the upcoming Milwaukee Metal Fest 2024 as well as NJ Metalfest 9 ! They were also just a part of Hatebreed’s 30th Anniversary show at the Toyota Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, CT in March. They are continuing with some Philly area shows and they are currently working on completing their 3rd album. I can confidently say MANY are sitting in anticipation for what they churn out next. With Thrash Metal being my favorite genre of Heavy Metal, I can say I am certainly one of them. Below are some photos I have captured of them from various shows around the region.
